Giddie-Guru

I'm waiting patiently for them to pick me up, nervous, pup hood in hand. We haven't played yet and I don't know if it'll all pan out exactly but I'm optimistic. I've got my play bag draped over my shoulder, full of balls and rope toys and my plushies. I've got my harness on, unashamed to project my kinky heart on my sleeve for all the world to see. I've always been like that, unapologetic for being left of center, proud of my nuance and quirks. I light up another cigarette, clenched between my lips as I draw in the smoke. Man I wish I could kick this habit but I'm a bundle of nerves and sometimes I need to self medicate. My fingers wrap around the cigarette and knock off some ash and I watch as it swirls to the ground. I take another drag and blow the smoke out slowly. Suddenly I see their car pull up and they wave at me from the driver seat. My heart leaps into my throat and I stub the cigarette out and toss it into the bucket. I readjust the bag strap on my shoulder, get up, and walk
